Practice Facilities
Kings Norton Golf Club spans an area of some 220 acres, an unusually spacious golfing estate which enables us to offer our Members and Visitors a greater choice of Practice Facilities than most other Golf Clubs.
We have an extensive grass Driving Range capable of accommodating in excess of 25 golfers and extending to beyond 250 yards with buckets of balls available from the Pro-shop.
The club also offers a 9 hole par 3 Academy Course which is great for those who wish to tune their short game. It is also a great introduction to the great game of golf for everyone and it is used extensively in our Get into Golf programmes for Men, Ladies and Juniors.
Four Outdoor Nets are placed strategically close to each of the three first tees for a quick loosen up before the start of a round.
A fantastic new Short Game Practice area is under construction and will be ready for use in Spring 2023. The extensive space with two greens and numerous bunkers has been designed to allow a number of golfers to hone their short game simultaneously.
The roof terrace bar and patio overlook the large
Putting Green. The Greenkeeping team do a marvellous job in maintaining this surface to the same high quality as the greens on the course.
Indoors within the
Swing Studio in the Pro-shop we have a state of the art simulator, GC Quad Launch Monitor, for lessons, club fittings, or for hire for private practice or social golf with friends.
