MENS - Gold Cup Rules

An 18-hole 4BBB Medal. The maximum entry handicap is index 21.0 and the handicap allowance is 85%. Therefore, the maximum playing handicap on the day will be 22 shots.

Entry is open to all amateur golfers who are members of a golf club affiliated to a recognised County Union, who hold full playing rights at their home club and whose current WHS Handicap Index is issued and administered by that club.

All entrants must have 5 qualifying scores in the previous 12 months to be eligible to win a prize.

Prizes will be awarded to the top 6 pairs. There will also be an additional prize for the visiting pair with the best score. Each pair can only win one prize. 

Players can only partner with a player from their home club. Players will not be eligible for prizes if the pair are members of different clubs.

Entry fee £100 per pair for visitors, £40 per pair for members. 

Entrance fee includes a bacon sandwich. There will also be a BBQ, which is not included in the price - vouchers can be purchased on the day. For very early starters, the bacon sandwich will be available after completion of their round.

Strictly payment on entry.
